Why give?
Since establishing Evelyn's legacy through the inception of the Foundation in 2019, four primary programming areas (the Evelyn Hazel Miller Memorial Fund at the Columbus Zoo, Evie Bear's Little Libraries, Dayton Children's Hospital, and the Evie Bear HUGS Program) have supported children's education, literacy, mental health and well-being.
We believe that by investing in the lives of other children, we are honoring Evelyn’s spirit through meaningful and long-lasting contributions that remind us of her life’s passions and favorite activities.
For more information on the ways your financial gifts support our program areas, visit our Purpose & Outreach page.
